The firm covers the fields of Architecture, Civil and Structural Engineering, Municipal and Highway Engineering, Interior and Landscape Design, whilst also offering Project Management, Contract Management, Quantity Surveying, Cost Consultancy and Quality Control services. Moreover, the firm has close ties with associated firms and consultants, in related fields, and could draw in their expertise if necessary.
Having a wide experience in major architectural and engineering projects in Malta, the firm is able to handle from the largest of projects to the simpler commissions. This project was a result of a competition set out by Heritage Malta to construct an interpretation center for the Ġgantija temples in Xaghra, Gozo.
DTR were engaged as the Project Architects, having been in charge of the design, procurement and excecution of works of the Esplora Interactive Science Center, adjoining planetarium and coastal promenade. The latter being a work in progress nearing the end of the construction phase.
The winning entry of a design competition, MUŻA is the Malta's national museum of fine art. DTR was involved in the design, restoration, procurement and execution of works at the Auberge d'Italie.
DTR was tasked with the design, procurement and management of the construction of Malta's first national indoor pool. Although the new structure is an extension to the existing Sports Complex in Cottonera and is connected internally, the new building may be closed off and used separately as necessary.
A concept project, currently on hold for the upgrading of Zurrieq's primary school. The proposal includes the addition of a child care facility and alterations to the interior of the school to facilitate passage throughout the school.
Completed in late 2020, the project was carried out to join the two wings of the school at first and second floor to facilitate flow within the school. DTR was responsible for the whole project from conception to execution.
DTR was engaged as the Architects in charge of the execution of site works for the construction of a family park incorporating an outdoor concert area within the Ta' Qali grounds. Works are currently ongoing on site.
